I would say no more than 6 months in any base. That's a generalization, however, it may be less in some bases.

I'm glad they reinstated those classes. Any idea on the dates and sizes of the classes?

I was just down in FLL on Friday for a PT. The APD doing my sim said no May classes. That was Friday afternoon. Management doesn't work on weekends here and its only 11am in east coast. I doubt its changed that quickly but here's to hoping it has.

An APD is one of the select few check airman that can do type rides. I'm guessing he would have heard first.

People have been called in the last 48 hours for May class dates. I guess this change was very recent. I haven't seen anything official from the company, but that is where my info is coming from. It sounds like Gringo has received one of those calls.

LAS is almost a year. DTW and FLL new hires were going straight to a relief (build-up) line due to senior guys bidding reserve. Don't know if that is still the case. Living in base and being reserve here is a great gig!

Wow. Didn't realize LAS was getting that senior on the FO side. Been a while since I was based there.
