Spirit new hire info

I would have done that after two. If they haven't called, move on. Maybe there is some weird reason they don't want to call you, maybe there is a valid reason. Who knows.

I have a friend that could never get a Spirit interview. Got hired by Delta in the interim. Pilot hiring is mysterious in many cases. Stay persistent, but pursue all opportunities.

Not to be a Debbie Downer, but there was what, 250-300 pilots who attended the last job fair alone? How many the one before that?? Plus add in all of the internal recs sent in as well, plus apps submitted online.....we have had what, 20-25 total new hires for April and May combined???
Point is very few, percentage wise, will end up being called. Feel bad for those who went and paid for multiple job fairs, it's just how the game is played. Most airlines have stacks of very qualified pilots who just don't get called. Best to move on, with the best of luck! If they call later on, awesome!

There's a lot of good advice here. Going to a job fair does not guarantee an interview anywhere, and maybe ACS and/or NK are partly at fault if they are indeed portraying the situation as such. I often see the thinly-veiled assumption here on APC that NK must be an easy nut to crack because they give a wide demographic the opportunity to "try out." You probably don't see the same types of assumptions being thrown around in the Delta or Southwest threads. Not to sound blunt, but maybe it's the "Spirit the lower tier major airline should be desperate to have me" attitude that might be turning off the recruiter. Not directed at anyone and best of luck to everyone; the application process isn't really fun or always sensible anywhere. As others have mentioned, there are many other great opportunities in the industry!

As my Captain friend there who is trying to get me on told me last week, "Don't worry, in 2015 when they are taking their deliveries of 15 more airplanes, they will be begging for you to interview."
Que sera sera
Cheers mate
