Move to Boston. Your quality of life will be incredible compared to commuting from Indiana. You will earn more money, and spend more time at home.
I don't know if things will change because of this vote, but either way you will have a much different experience as a commuter compared to someone who lives in base.
Yes it is pricey, but there are some nice and affordable areas within an hour or two of the airport. Good luck!

My understanding is that the company must maintain the status quo until a CBA is reached. DIsclaimer: I am no expert on this, and no HI Express last night. I think what some are trying to say is that what bennies and freebies the company gave you before are all gonna be gone. You will have to abide by their rules until the CBA is reached. I don't know if they can change them on you, but my advice is know the rule books.

Not true at all, PPA, FSM, DRM and non essential committes pro-standards/PVC/work rules have been cancelled as of 1500 est. ALPA gas replacements for some of them but won't be in affect for a while. Fly safe, follow the FOM/ops specs to a tee. The company can fire you for anything including anything they can think of.

No PPA is not part of your PEA, DRM yes but not the whole thing. Without an FSM how will you hold them accountable? Ask yourself this without pro standards who is going to support you through the process? You will be on your own and the company will eat your lunch and then some if they choose to. As for the PPA, it may be given back in the beginnings of negotiations in exchange for what management is trying to do with their Mint product. They want the Flight crew to address the mint cabin seperatly as part of their greetings and give mint clients "special" treatment. We will see how that goes over. ALPA will have some of these fixes ready, I hope. Protect yourself, follow the FOM these are uncharted waters. We just started this Marathon.

I agree that this begins a long road ahead.
