When you are hired on Day 1 you sign the PEA which has a 5-year duration, and it automatic renews unless the company provides notice in writing that it won't be renewed. To my knowledge, nobody has ever received notice that it won't be renewed, but... there's a 1st time for everything.

I'm not sure what will happen with newhires starting class over the next weeks/months/years ahead. I assume they will still be given a PEA like the rest of us and have that same 5 year duration.

of all the posts P-3, I will say this is the classiest I've seen in a while. It takes a lot of character to say this, given that you did not want them on property, but I think that you realize that the union is only as strong as each of you. Im extremely proud of you guys for unionizing. Incredibly proud. You guys went from just ok in my book to an incredible group and I'll be changing my advice to my military friends about applying to JB. Congrats!
