Too many engines.
The 787 was ordered years ago because NWA wanted the service contract, I even worked on that program. When we went bankrupt, Boeing balked, which is funny because the 787 went to ****.

What if...
The whales don't need replacing with similar capacity airframes (777-300's) as they've already said they are going to de-hub NRT and overfly directly to some of those 747 destinations.
You can get to just about anywhere in Asia from SEA with an A330 NEO, at 1/3 the price of a 777-300. You can also get from JFK to all of Europe and from ATL to Africa and South America.
My guess, 50 A330 NEO's. But that's just a guess.

Well the 773 is a hot seller right with min discounts? So if the 275M gets a 40% discount couldn't the 330NEO be 50% off?
