This deserves some pondering.

Okay. Just because you purchase a government appointee/employee doesn't mean you are one. So you did not meet the qualifications.

But it was a 5-4 vote in upholding this does not apply to you. Rumor is someone might have changed their vote depending on favorable media coverage and the desire to be cool.

Simple. Because she was a persistent problem child that nobody wanted to fly with and she finally stepped on her [CENSORED] (in a big way) enough with this incident for the company to can her sweet a$$. Good riddance.

If there's one thing that erks me to no end is captains that make life miserable for their FOs and fellow coworkers. Nobody deserved to suffer through three or four days of that.

I'm curious too. I even looked at the public dockets on the NTSB site, which usually has everything relating to an accident (witness interviews, diagrams, transcripts) and the crash isn't even listed. what gives?? could she maybe be suing SWA for firing her and that's why it's not public?

She did sue the Company. Can you believe the nerve?! Let's see, I'm persistently a problem at work and then I go crash an airplane because of my deliberately careless and wreckless behavior in the cockpit. Unbelievable......

This is my life every time I go to work on reserve. I find I'm flying with some over 60 a hole that makes everyone's life miserable. I'm starting to believe every captain at Delta is like this. Except TSquare of course.

I think they found him in the bar doing shots of 'ol Chicken immediately after the accident. After that I don't think he got in any trouble though.
