Spirit DFW Job Fair
All,
Just want to say thanks to Scott, the Marriott staff and all of the folks who helped put on the show. Addy and the rest of the volunteers were great to talk to while waiting our turn in line and really helped calm the nerves.
And, of course, definitely want to say thanks to all of the Spirit folks who volunteered their personal time to show up and talk to everyone. Great event, lots of fun, met some great folks and hope everyone gets the long app!

To answer your questions though...yes, they will check that you have a minimum of 500 PIC before you are allowed to see the recruiters. Scott will even tell you again during his presentation and will tell you he will give you a full refund on the spot if you don't have it.

Not saying that...just saying you can't meet with the recruiters at the job fair for the time being.
I'd definitely keep applying. Matter of fact I think the app changed a little bit ago, so if you haven't applied recently you should do so for sure.
You said you got the long app at some point? Maybe you should contact whoever sent it to you and go from there...

Wait- what? Please tell me our pilots that show up for these job fairs are compensated; to do a job for free that someone should be paid for is bad form. If this is true, then these guys should be pulled aside and given a little history lesson of what our labor group has had to endure over the last 7-8 years here...
