Which is why we got them, fo'free, from our new largest corporate client, Microsoft!

They gave us all their international accounts out of SEA, we eat their tablets, you know, the ones they couldn't sell.

Default Delta EFB??

Delta makes poor business decisions based on spite and ego. Delta is more like a fraternity and less like a business.

I was on the jumpseat the other day and someone showed me the mounting bracket. From the size of that contraption, I assume they have settled on this model.

That's the next generation model, actually. We're still on generation 1.

Funny wall street seems to think they are the most business like of the major airlines. Operationally they seem to be doing well also. Must be blind luck!

I have been testing the device for a month now. As a Mac guy I too was originally upset that we did not get the iPad. However this device is superior in every way to an iPad. This device is not obsolete.......The iPad is dinosaur.

1. Multiple log in accounts,
2. Split screen multi-tasking,
3. Huge amount of memory,
4. Replaceable battery,
5. USB drive,
6. Low cost, and
7. Open source software.

Give it a chance guys

At least you don't have to pay an extra $100 for each upgrade in memory like the iPads. Ripoff for such an easy component. And no USB or even a slot for a memory card.

What's the chance they will allow WiFi access while airborne to overlaw weather onto JeppFD as well as getting visual representations of Airmets/Sigmets? How 'bout using a Bluetooth GPS receiver to get moving map and aircraft position on approach plates?
