Truly how much more flexibility does the Surface give vs an Apple product, all we need is the ability to display the plates and have the manuals on line. We should care not a bit to be able to use it as our personal device. It always seems like we are trying for the latest and greatest in house product and instead we end up with a product that no one uses or wants. (Tahoe, FPS2)
They gave us all their international accounts out of SEA, we eat their tablets, you know, the ones they couldn't sell.

Funny wall street seems to think they are the most business like of the major airlines. Operationally they seem to be doing well also. Must be blind luck!

I have been testing the device for a month now. As a Mac guy I too was originally upset that we did not get the iPad. However this device is superior in every way to an iPad. This device is not obsolete.......The iPad is dinosaur.

What's the chance they will allow WiFi access while airborne to overlaw weather onto JeppFD as well as getting visual representations of Airmets/Sigmets? How 'bout using a Bluetooth GPS receiver to get moving map and aircraft position on approach plates?
