It's unanimous!
Don't walk, RUN to JB while you can. As a perpetual junior reserve captain, not only will you be abused forever commuting around FL, the odds of getting walked into a violation or incident are incalculably high. Allegiant is a heap of incompetent, greedy and shortsighted lackeys trying to play airline managers. Wall Street disagrees, but it's up there among the worst run airlines in aviation history, and actually appears to be getting worse. At this rate, I wouldn't be at all surprised if our doors were to close soon. I can't wait to see the look of shock on all the poor investors who were dooped into buying ALGT stock (junk bonds). Like the suddenly departed (quit? fired?) President, they too have shrugged off labor's concerns as 'union BS'.
You've apparently been kicked around enough in your career, it's time to relax and enjoy the rest of it at an outfit that knows how to run a respectable airline and actually cares about its people and treats them like human beings instead of trash. Take a look at how much progress JB has made on their short time negotiating with their management. Compare that to the deceitful and contemptuous tactics used at allegiant. In a third of the time, JB has already quadrupled the number of items TA'd at Allegiant.
This place doesn't deserve your talent, or anyone else's for that matter. Go enjoy your life.

Even living in base is meaningless, If you are junior, you are going to get a TDY somewhere else, possibly for a year or two. If you were dumb enough to bid the home basing thing, you will never be home, so that kind of defeats the purpose of being based at home.

I flew for Gallagher and I have no doubt that Alligiant is a sh!tbag airline. It just seems that someone who is a current captain on mainline equipment would very likely be hired by a Major in the next year or so. JetBlue seems like another steppingstone, not that there's anything wrong with that.

All that said, unless your looking for some quick TPIC (which I'm assuming the OP isn't) your probably better off at JB.
