I'm assuming the 6,000-6,500TT is just temporary for the time being? Thoughts?
With no letters or PIC time I would say that's a good number... I don't really know how temporary it might be, but it all depends on demand.

Thanks for the clarification.

Good gawd. Did anyone bother to read the update letter from the company that was posted on this website after the last window opened?!?!?

It's amazing that some of you can even zip up your own pants!

Highlights:

Last window. For 250-350 FO's.
4000 applied. 3000 very competitive. 2000 blue darts.

You do the math.

Hey man I'm trying to do the math, so did 4000 apply or the 3000 competitive + the 2000 blue darts = 5000? Or of the 4000, 3000 of then were competitive; and 2000 of the 3000 were blue darts?

I'm still on button fly jeans.
It's funny watching some people get all worked up and uppity,..geez! Miss one day of this thread and look out!!! As active as this thread is, info gets buried pretty quickly.

Peace out and remember to take deep breaths, I'm just yanking your chain

I think that 2000 number above is referencing internal recommendations, not blue darts. A blue dart is a guaranteed interview 'chip' given at random to active jetblue pilots. The active JB pilot can use that blue dart to get a buddy an interview, but it doesn't guarantee they will be hired. I'd take a guess and say there are only 100-150 interviews per year that are from blue darts.

From the last window 4000 applied, 3000 had competitive quals, 2000 had internal letters of rec

ITS ALL ABOUT WHO YOU KNOW!!! blue darts, blue farts, still end up being who you know. 3500hrs, no pic, no blue dart. I got an interview within 7months of dropping my app and was in class 3 months after that. Minimums are not set in stone. It's about who u have batting for u...
