I'm so glad he's OUR Ceo....the biggest threat to DAL in the medium term is him leaving.

Wait till someone like Doug Parker replaces him. You guys are very fortunate with RA.

Richard Anderson is quite an anomaly in the airline business in this era. He is a true leader who values the employees who have built their airline over decades. I am not sure there is another airline CEO like him in that regard.

Being that DAL is based in ATL their press release on immigration reform is curious. He dodged the obvious question so I have to believe it is an attempt to curry favor with the White House in an effort to influence DOT on the NAI application and the Export-Import Bank reform efforts.

He followed a string of "Doug Parkers" for us, so basically we have "been there, done that." Not to say that we cant get another one:

1. Ron Allen
2. Leo Mullen
3. Gerald Grinstein ***

*** While Gerald seemed to try to do some good at the very end it was mostly too late, and he was probably the biggest reason that 1 and 2 got the job in the first place.

When he responds to increased air fares, he always rolls out the inflation card.

When we want the 2004 hourly rates adjusted for inflation, he has amnesia.

Didn't Crandall try something called "Value Pricing" back in the day?
