Worst Thanksgiving overnight
Mine's the one to beat. Juneau for about 12 hours. Nothing will be open. No flight attendants. Just a Naval reserve Captain to share a meal with. Hopefully the hotel will have some meals prepared and ready for us to microwave in the walk-in. Beat that.

Hah! I can beat that easy. HOME! With Ol'Whatshername, Cruella de'mother in- law, her third husband the Baptist Minister, Whatshername's 40 year old, pregnant old maid sister and her snot nosed other kid, and nine cat's with no concept of keep off the table.
I'd like a divorce for Christmas, but can't afford that much this year.
And, yes, real, no joke, timed out and no where else to go.

Mine is pretty bad. I finish my actual flights at 13:00, but I spend the next 20 hours airlineing on three flights to get from the west coast back home on the east coast. Thursday is my last day of work, but I wont be home until 10:00 on Friday.

Day 3 of 6, sitting "base assist" Reserve in the hotel. No crew aside from another pilot that I couldn't get ahold of. No flying until late late tomorrow night. Hotel van only runs to/from the airport every 40 minutes. There's a fast food joint/gas station in .5 miles, or if I'm willing to play frogger, a Denny's a good bit further.
I like this thread, I'm already feeling better... but then again I'm only 30 minutes into a 10 hour reserve shift.
