Anybody doing a KJAX to NYC commute? I see there are a bunch of DCI and Jetblue direct flights every day but I am curious if it is still the Florida standard nightmare commute.

anyone got pros or cons for any of these as I think I might have to pony one up for Jan and Feb at least before I get converted to SLC?

also how much is your place in Kew Gardens? Likes, dislikes?

thanks
I will be commuting to NYC in May and would love to know your thoughts on any of the crash pads you listed above now that you have been commuting.

Thank you

Anyone have a bed available in their crashpad in Kew? Metro Lefferts is great. Shoot me a PM please.

No Hassle Castle-also known as the No Heat Retreat. I had a crash pad at Margarita's place, built from the ground up as a crash pad, also convenient to JFK. The Oasis is great as a nightly use place, a short walk to the E train which connects to the Airtrain to JFK. Or you can just Kew or General cab it.

1. Avoid Brooks B. at all costs
2. Best technique, just ask guys who you fly with or in the lounges about what they know. In-person word-of-mouth is the best way to get a line on a "good" pad.
3. I've heard good things about this place: http://crashpadoasis.webs.com/ Never stayed there myself as I lucked out and got into the original JB pad across the street from the Hangar.

Margarita seems to always have a bed or two. No luck there?

I've stayed at the Oasis many times. It's cheap, clean, quiet, and convenient.
