Just took Delta to Germany and the alcohol was free in economy class. The real stuff, not just cheap beer and box wine.

And just exactly what is wrong with boxed wine?

And by the real stuff you mean real Budweiser? Hahaha

In most countries outside the USA, they dont offer free upgrades. You get what you pay for.
Tell me about it. I work at Spirit, where people pay $28 for a flight to Cleveland and complain the entire time that their beverage wasn't free.

Nothing. Boxed wine has come a long way recently.

Bota Box Malbec is as good as any $10-20 bottle you'd find at your local higher end Liquor store, like Binny's or Total Wine. At $20 a box, with the equivalent of four bottles in volume, it's a steal.

Trader Joe's also started offering boxed wine, for $11 a box. Surprisingly good; it's not that headache-inducing Two Buck Chuck repackaged in a box, which I found surprising. For the price, hard to beat!

Nothing like a little game of slap the bag with Franzia to remind you of college. Least they dont serve Keystone on flights. Mullets would come from all over if it was free.

I've DHD on United to HKG NRT BKK SIN SYD etc etc on 777s and 744s. When I had a choice I would pick them over Delta every time. Deltas business first is garbage and so is the service, but I would take any reputable Asian carrier over both of them.

You must have been in premium economy; I think it's only beer/wine in regular economy.

A flight attendant talking about flying on an airplane. How is this relevant to pilots? (This being "airlinepilotforums" and not "airlineflightattendantforums.")
