Default TU-154 Landing Video

Find the CRM differences! You don't have to speak the language to see a few graphics differences.

To me, they always sound like they are arguing!!!! I dunno, I see another side of this also, maybe the capt. was making the point that his FO was over-controlling. I know I've done that to my students when they start over-working the yoke, but then again, 152 vs Jet(with pax)

How do you say "Checklists, we don't need no stinking checklists" in Russian.

That captain reminds me of one of my tweet instructors.

I always loved it when they'd grab your oxygen mask and point your head at what they wanted you to look at.

The pedantic style of CRM is familiar to many who have flown in third world cockpits. FO is tuned to receive mode only with response to direct queries only.
The autothrottles seemed to put on an interesting display and that sickly green of the instrument panel was used on many Soviet military machines. Looks like the old master wasn't too pleased with the progress of his charge.
It was a hoot to watch him slap up the window shade on final.
No worries they'll sort it out over a couple of liters of vodka in the debrief.

That sickly green looked just like the color in a DC-9. Yechhhhh.

Well first of all Russian is a very rough language. The captain is training the FO. The captain was upset that the FO did not use proper flap settings, checklist and later closer to final, he told the FO not to make such small control movements, because the plane will just remain straight since he is turning left then right, left right...

Right before the touch down the FO asks the CAPT for decision, the captain says “Sadimsya” which means continue on with the landing.

Later when the plane lands, the Captain says Maladets, which means good job.
