Spirit recall, get some drama for your Mama

I do not support focused negotiations. It is silly. We need to fix many areas and now is the time.

Were on the same page, we NEED to get a contract that reflects what we are worth. There's somethings that need to be fixed, but compensation is the single biggest thing. But, the meetings to express intent are important as are the smaller personal relationships, meets and messages I'm sure they've already done. Listen to what JA has already said, they've talked to Bendo, Yuri and management, maybe not all about negotiating, but the relationships are being laid. Let's not pull them up. It's not negotiating-specific, but talks are there. I'm thinking we will get good results, we have old blood and new, not just with the MEC, but on the NC too. That can't be a bad thing.

Where do you start?
Policy manual - bring the alleged violators up on charges
If you don't get it done before negotiations begin in earnest you will always be off balance and the pilots will have divided loyalties.
Sounds like the perfect start for mgmt

Where are you going with this? Do you want the previous MEC Chair and Negotiators brought up on charges? Do you want the current MEC brought up on charges? What?
Do you want to negotiate using a team that has been proven ineffective just to avoid being "off balance"?

I don't think we will ever be 'off-balance'. Just delayed a little bit which is well worth it. The company will be off balance as they have already engineered their game plane with Matias and Amongero.
I say pull 'em.
I say pull 'em.

Maybe you missed it, but Amongero IS gone. If Matyus stays he will follow MEC guidance. If not, he and Slotten will also be gone.
Agreed on the off balance part. Yuri and Bendo must have had an "under the table" deal already done with Amongero and Hopkins. Removing them protects us from whatever concessions they gave a handshake on. It is just too bad that they stayed in office long enough to fool 70% into voting for a concessionary DL LOA. At brand X, the DL software wouldn't allow you to just click through, every third or fourth slide had a question that must be correctly answered. Trust me on this, it took 9 hours to complete an 8 hour section. Thanks for stealing a day off Chris and Paul.
