Be assured, no one I talk to is considering any concessions.
There is plenty of room in today's NK, for JetBlue+X% pay, with improvements in work rules, 401K, retirement, scope.
There is NO better time than NOW!
Rushing into a quick sign would be a travesty.

IF NOT NOW, WHEN?

Somewhere in your training you heard this, "make sure you always know where the airplane will be in five minutes, and get your head there NOW!"

I'm saying make sure you know where you want to be in 5, 10, 15 years, and get your head there NOW!

So am I supposed to make 50%, yes 50%, less than my peers on pay and 44% less retirement for the next 15years to enjoy a qol that only my seniority is buying. That's a lot of money! And that seniority won't mean a think if the company drives through our gaping holes in our scope or I get diabetes for which I have no LTD to protect me when I lose my medical. Man I'm so glad you were here to help me with my priorities.

***! JetBlue is in negotiations NOW for raises on those rates. Delta is in negotiations NOW. Southwest is in negotiations NOW. FedEx is I'm negotiations NOW. United will be negotiating again next year.

If you want JetBlue + X% you better mean +XX%

And I guess I should have referenced AA, as they, not Delta, were actually "The Most Profitable Airline in the United States" last year - 2.9 Billion.

Could not agree more.
Why do you think I am in NO hurry to quick sign.
Management knows... they are pushing for a quickie, so we would miss the opportunity for higher leverage/comps.
Their 30% offer is a steal. (for them)

PAY (hr+guarantee), scope (merger language), retirement.

Make it XXX %

Minor omission on your part:
DAL - 1000+ planes (including RJ's)
AAL - 1200+ planes (including RJ's)
NKS - 70

$225 mil ain't too shabby. As far as profit per aircraft, Spirit beats everybody.

Not bad for little 5B market cap / 60 airframe save.

Let's see what happens when oil is $100+ with DAL's 1 percent margin.
Spirit's margins don't beat DAL's, they took DAL's to dinner, then bent them over the hood of their car in the parking lot.

They offered 30%? I never saw a mention of that. I'm currently about 50% low just on rates alone.

For the sake of discussion, please divulge your seniority, then we can view the depth of your hypocrisy.
