In house unions don't strike. They don't have the money. recall the APA begged Clinton for the PEB, because if they did strike AMR would've crushed them...

Same with SWAPA.... SWA will show the pilots a '50 Shades of Grey' style LUV... SWAPA will never strike, even if the nmb would allow it, and management knows it...

Its not a threat if management knows the gun is empty

Since we are all connected and SWA pilots have been enjoying the benefits and a paved path from the rest of us legacy pilots... mostly indirectly, some direct...

If you guys can negotiate getting paid for what you actually fly... That'd be great...

Think about it... no more Free Go-Arounds... (not that you actually do them)

No more Bulldozing your way through airspace at your fellow pilots expense.

No more ATC pizza parties.

No more fake apologies to ground control as you get sneak ahead and I set brakes.

No more jokes as you yet again, depart the taxiway or runway.

A relaxing Spa like Zen experience in the cockpit.
The volume of ignorance of the SWAPA CBA which you choose to pontificate about is epic in its proportions.

Snark,

Are you going to get our section 1 anytime soon? Thanks for lowering the bar for the independent unions.

You mean there is another reason why you guys fly like Doug Masters in Iron Eagle?

What Union post have you held?
Not sure of the reasoning behind the question, but that would be none. As a loyal SWAPA member I do know my dues have helped finance some questionable trip pulls for some.. Bless those that volunteer though. I certainly would not have the patience for meetings with the current company negotiators.

Hey noob,
Ever heard of a sympathy strike? All the other unions ARE national affiliates. We might have to honor someone else' fight. Your welcome.
