I understand that he was wisely denied the chance to become a sim instructor. We should all thank our preferred deity for that.
There goes that old axiom:

Those that can, do.
Those that can't do, teach.

Also thank the deities that BM is no longer a chief... Not a huge loss. SL has done a great job and the time has come for him to get his life back and enjoy flying rather than continue to be burnt out as a Chief.

Praise Tebow for that...would suck to have to deal with an AC on the AB side.

I agree.

He had a reason for all the Easter eggs he planted and explained why. I left that PT knowing more. Nothing wrong with that.

Are Allegiant pilots getting picked up by American / Delta / United? What kind of numbers in the last 12 months?

Yes, United more so than the rest. American is hiring very few off the street'ers at the moment due to recalls and flows, and Delta is predominately military experience, but I know we send quite a few to United.

No exact numbers, but our VP of planning (JB, insanely smart guy) told me 2 weeks ago that attrition was "a real problem" and we are losing "5% of FO's and 3-4% of captains" per year.

And just to add some fuel to the fire (pure speculation mostly)... I've been told that once you get an airbus type, it's pretty easy to get a call from Spirit, Frontier, JetBlue, etc... not that that's what most guys are looking for, but at least it's not bad news!
