Default CVG?

Spent the past 2 days browsing this thread, so forgive me if I may have missed some of these answers.

I read CVG base has early AM and afternoon show times, what are the specific trips like each day? Out and back, or 4 legs? Can you provide an example?

How many days in a row before time off? Still trying to get the picture of how the day and month looks.

Link on post 4187 doesn't seem to work anymore, would anyone care to PM a copy of CBA? Would like to review if able.

How many pilots in CVG and how long before NH is able to hold it?

Thank you very much in advance. Greatly appreciate all the previous responses, helps those of us interested paint a better picture of what life is like at G4.

The MD80 is fun to fly and easy to learn. It's a real airplane that requires a real pilot, unlike the airbus which was made for 18yo button pushers to fly. The unexpected MD80 quirks take a while to figure out but it's not as big as people make it out to be.

Once you get hired and holding PIE MD80FO, the worst case is you'd be displaced out of your base into another airbus base, but more than likely you'd be able to bid back into PIE before you finish IOE or shortly after. The question is, will PIE transition to the airbus before anymore newhires get MD80 PIE. Too close to call at this point.

There are currently 3 new hires from the September class assigned to CVG who are not flying yet. The most junior pilot actually flying in CVG is a June hire.

Looks like that entire website is down, maybe it is just temporary. If it comes back up, you can see some actual schedules.

Tom11011, thanks for the info, and I'll keep checking the website!

Anyone else able to answer the other questions? Thanks in advance!

Thousands of hours in both and the Airbus is superior in almost every way.

Early in my career there was a period where I could have flown the 727 but didn't because it just didn't really make sense from a family/QOL perspective. I kick myself for missing out on flying the three-holer but realistically, most of us are going to choose life first airplanes second. If you can make it work, avail yourselves of the opportunity to fly an old-school mechanical airliner - they're goin' fast.

This feels like that commercial with the raccoons where one eats something gross in the garbage and wants the others to try it.

Sorry to all, new to the thread and curious about PGD base. Is it junior or senior What are the chances of getting it out of training? And if anyone knows the schedules out of PGD, I would greatly appreciate the info! Thanks!
