Your comparisons to the 145 don't hold up though. I came into the right seat of the 190 from 5 years in the 145 as my perspective point, fwiw.
The 145 seats are better than the 190. Embraer tried to make the 190 seats fancier and missed the mark in the most important areas. JetBlue hasn't replaced the seats with redesigned contours and cushions 4 times in 10 years because they love throwing money at us!

Go ahead and try using the same energy management techniques in a 190 as you did in the 145 and get back to me on the snark. Be sure to study up on your go-around profile while you're at it. The airfoil drag characteristics and the anti-ice thrust bump are drastically different on the two jets. As a different reference point, I can easily stabilize an aggressive approach profile on a much heavier 320 or 321 that would cause a guaranteed go-around in the 190. The 145? If you could see the runway you can hit it, and spooled up to boot.
My point was that all aircraft have quirks like that. It's just something you adapt to as a pilot learn how to manage. Without any experience on the 190, I will say that the 145 had one of the worst anti-ice power bumps that I have seen. Nothing like trying to descend into ORD on an ILS in the ice with approach screaming at you to slow to 160. Only choice you really had was to put the gear out.
And as was already said, why FOR THE LOVE OF GOD do the packs on Embraers reset to FULL COLD after the anti-ice cycles!??!?!?!
For the other guys, I did just think of something else I like about the jet: awesome brakes. Flaps full/max reverse/medium brakes and she'll happily stop in 3000 feet with no drama. Overall after flying the jet for 6 years my over-riding impression was of a not-quite-finished product; she's a good idea that was never engineered properly. Don't forget your ANC headset if you bid over; QC15s and A20s were popular with our guys that didn't use the ship-sets. I just flew with an FO in FIFI who had me try out his DCPRO and it's making me reconsider going "topless" in the 320 on shorter legs. All the noise cancelling I remember from the Sennheisers without the squeezed-head feeling. Good luck...

*DING* HYD SYS 1-2 INOP. I know. I turned the hydraulic pumps off.
*DING* RUDDER SYS 1-2 INOP. I know!!! They're on the hydraulic system...WHICH I JUST TURNED OFF!
*DING* AILERON SYS 1-2 INOP. YGTBFSM!!! I know! We're at the gate! I turned the hydraulics off!
Imagine that every time you shut the plane down. Every leg. Is that something the 190 still does or did Embraer fix that?

Latest info is SEA base w/ line ops starting appx Jan 2017 and first bids into category June/July this year timeframe. Thats all thats been made official with this "new" deal on the 190s. During the TA voting window last summer there were plans for more 190s from somewhere else and the plan then was to pull the 717 back east and fill in w the 190s- implied LAX base and possible SLC base. Nothing on that topic since last summer though to my knowledge.

The best way to negotiate a higher pay rate would be for NOBODY to bid it, make the company assign every pilot in each seat, and then have them bail out of it ASAP, keep the training churn to a maximum, and see just how long the company can keep that up before they come to their senses and raise the pay.

If the company assigns a new hire to it, is there still a 2yr. seat lock?
