Default Who's gonna bid the 190 at DAL?

So, since the 190's are apparently coming to DAL, show of hands, who wants it? Let's assume that they are all out of SEA. What seniority in the category would you have to have to take a 2 year seat lock?

I'll go first. I'm a 2015 hire and would not take it due to the SEA location. I would take a line holder 190A if they were in LAX or ATL and had pay in the neighborhood of the 717. No B for me.

Whatcha think?

Do you even meet the mins to bid it with the 1k 121 requirement? You know you can only count 500 of mil multi crew multi engine pic right?

Wouldn't be an issue if majors hired more off the street pilots from the 121 world.

No I don't have the 1000 yet but I will by the time the first or second 190 AE bid is announced. I tend to think there will be plenty of takers senior to me though that want the SEA domicile with high seniority in their category though.

If it wasn't in Seattle I would. Would love to be senior as a relatively new guy. Could deal with the low pay for about 2 years, then go to something else.

I'll stay in the right seat of the 7ER over that b scale even though I am very junior. I'll make a lot more and work a lot fewer legs. Staffing of the E190 is one of the only things I can see as an issue for the company that might get them to actually negotiate.

I agree the company will have a hard time staffing them with senior pilots but if new guys don't bid it they will just stick new hires in it.

Well. . as 4fans knows. .I'm also a 2015 hire. . and I live in SEA.

And i'm struggling to consider snipering an SEA190A bid in the coming months. . the pay is no better than my 7ER spot. . but I'd be at home.

Who knows.
