Pilots need to stop going to NAI. Perhaps some shaming by their brethren at other European carriers is in order?

For decades now in the US there has been a separation of the classes and literally thousands of pilots are redefining the race to the bottom at the regional level....., How is this a cataclysmic end of our careers?

How about fixing the ridiculous US aviation "Us and them" stupidity we have going on for decades now instead of our own version of Fox News the sky is falling.....! Drama queens!
I'm not going to say the US regional industry is great, but an E170 Capt is making about as much as a B787 capt at NAI. For a third world airline pilot that is a good deal and that is where our future pilots will originate from.

With SJS in full bloom and no wife and kids at home to support, it's no surprise that he's clueless. That 10K a month flying Captain on an ultra-efficient long haul jet is all his, so in his mind he's doing great.

I got the call one time to appear at my kid's school on "career day" to talk about being / becoming a pilot. After watching this NAI fiasco unfold, I sure as heck will never do anything like that again.

LOL, Wut? I AM a E170 Captain and I earn nowhere near 10K a month.

Correct, I said about as much. Keep in mind the 787 mtogw is over six times that of your airplane.
