According to LinkedIn, the second guy (F/O) was in the Norwegian Air Force, and the last guy (relief CA) is Italian.

I fly with lots of guys that aren't American.

Just a *wee* bit of difference between those rates under a bankruptcy contract in the midst of one of the darkest decades in airline history and those rates now, when airline profits are higher than ever.
