Ok, guys. You go ahead and ACARS dispatch instead of using your phone if that makes you feel better.
My point is that doing stuff like that isn't going to get us a good contract. Do you seriously think doing stuff like that makes any difference at all? I'm familiar with the process and history of recent airline contract negotiations. It's a long, painful process. You don't need to make your life more difficult in the meantime.
The railway labor act prevents us from doing anything that would put any real pressure on the company.
And no, they still haven't approached me about that ass chief job...

So once SWA gets a new contract they will be at 289+/hr. A whopping 120 more than we make. Not to mention benefits and work rules.

Should a crew have to wait for 40 minutes or more from the Block In for hotel transportation, the crew shall be permitted to call for alternate transportation to/from the hotel. The hotel shall be charged for this alternate transportation at the time of the occurrence. If the hotel refuses to pay, the Captain shall submit an expense form with proper receipts, and be reimbursed for this amount.
I've heard stories of people waiting on the CURB for 40+ minutes. Block In is the key!! Don't wait...exercise your right!!!
