Funny. After attended a conference or two I can attest to the fact that amongst many well qualified, professional and prepared candidates exists a select few who might help themselves more by staying home!

Nor do I. Particularly when his very first post is a rant. It screams out, "Troll".

The reality is, if you have plenty of PIC and many years of volunteer time, and the recruiters are all telling you that you need more, you need to figure out what's going on. Trying to excuse the fact that you're not getting the call because they're only calling all those minorities is ridiculous. There just aren't that many out there, even if every single one of them got the call before you.

So obviously, there's something wrong. Perhaps you are turning people off when they meet you personally. Perhaps there is something glaring on your applications, like something missing or something that looks bad. If you actually want a job, you need to figure it out, and not blame it on other people. Recruiters can sense a bad attitude miles away. Consider using one of the specialized consulting services, it would be worth the money.

To back up the above post...The interview prep money I spent was by far in my life the best spent money...If you go ten times and change your hair, clothes,whatever...do it....with 10000 hrs and 4000 tpic...something needs to change..I have new hire first officers a lot now and most are white males,so do the consulting,it may be the trick to change your luck!
