I looked at the Tumi and quickly eliminated it. I didn't like the design of the bag as much, and I think the warranty is only 5 years. It's a lifetime warranty on the Briggs and Riley and it also covers damage caused by the airline (not sure where Tumi stands on that).

You can get a 20% discount on the B&R so the one I got ended up at $400. Where I work we get a nice discount on some Tumi items so I think the Tumi bag would've ended up costing a little less than the B&R.

Smartlink Hook

Would that work for the hook?

Thanks - Baja.
That probably would work! I should have ordered one when I purchased my bag, but I didn't realize it was an option!

Does yours have side pockets? Someone once told me that he doesn't like the side pockets because the can catch on things and eventually rip. My old bag went almost 25 years and the side bags were never an issue.

Side pockets are an issue on the 737 in that the storage area is tight and can rip the side pockets.

Nothing's wrong with steampunk aircraft design. It's a style thing, surprised you didn't know that. j/k

I like Art Deco. I wish we ran Super Connies, but we don’t.
