These threads crop up every time this happens, just know our guys are getting the help they need behind the scenes as this thing plays out.

They wouldn't have gotten arrested if he/she did. These guys have their names and pics splatter on Internet and are still sitting in jail right now. Sobering to say the least.

CSY....just curious.....when the AA pilot got in hot water in DTW last spring, did you start a thread on the AA board about it also?

I just saw the names/pix somewhere and I can't believe one of them is someone I flew with years ago. To say I'm shocked is an understatement.

Agree - it serves no useful purpose.

Disagree.
There are (probably) alot of young aspiring pilots who read these threads.. along with others who are either starting their careers or making the jump to Major 121 flying.

These type of threads serve as a good reminder that sometimes, anything can happen.

We still don't know what ACTUALLY happened the night before, and the hour leading up to this incident.
What we do know is that 2 professional pilots have had their worlds tuned upside down.

Also.. in this day and age- your stuff is out there! Be careful with social media.
And even though it's sometimes hard to do.. maybe speak up and shut down a flight before it gets this far.

Just my opinion
Always
