Ugh. I remember the company put something out about UK standards being even tighter than the US .02% BAC. But sounds like they were more impaired than that if station personnel noticed it.

Guess we will have to wait for the rest of the story. Sucks that we will now have to endure yet another round of drunk pilot jokes from passengers and friends.

That's some bad Ju-Ju, '2, 1st officers' it says? I guess the Capt decided otherwise? If known to him/her, the time to shut it down is in the hotel lobby.

Let's assume it's the usual 24 hour or so layover. If desired, one needs to move 'happy hour' to noon or so. After all, 'It's 5-O'clock somewhere'.

And endure more scrutiny at security. Just like Mexico. One crew member carried drugs, now we get 100% bag search in customs while passengers just walk on by. One baby poops everyone has to wear diapers.

If ever in doubt, call in sick, don't leave the room until you are fully recovered. Blame it on something you ate.

Not worth it.

If ever in doubt, stop imbibing 12hours prior to show time... Its not worth losing a career over too much alcohol...

I wonder if the Captain noticed on the crew bus and said "guys/gals you feeling ok to fly today or do you want to call in sick?"
