Yep. More expensive, takes longer, and zero to hero with less real world experience, much higher barriers to entry for all but the test taking aptitude kids, all while fooling themselves into thinking they're superior.
No thanks, we'll stick with what we have thank you very much.

Maybe except the superior part, that was also what we had not too long ago. The reason flying is reasonably cheap here compared to the rest of the world is because we have a GA sector that is unsurpassed compared to the rest. And MPL will come here because there are too many retirements and growth in the future with a lack of enough entry pilots into the career field.

Is any one actually considering going to Norwegian while knowing what they want to accomplish? That will not go well if you ever want to be hired by legacy US carrier.

Don't you have an opentime trip to pick up on the standing available list? If facts ever mattered, I'm not from Saudi Arabia. We were having a reasonable discussion in the thread. You on the other hand use f-words and s-words in asterisks on your NKS thread. That is beyond annoying.

A sh!t hole for sure, perhaps that is why those guys are emigrating to and seeking asylum in the Western world?

On the whole I agree. The biggest draw back to the European standards are their tough 1st class standards compared to here with the FAA. From what I gleaned, I couldn't ever have hoped to be an airline pilot in Europe, but in the US with a SODA it's entirely possible. When it comes to medical regs and potential solutions for whatever problems, we really have it the best!
