I would actually be in favor of beards. Im just saying some guys would take it to the extreme

Beards would be regulated the same, just as mustaches are now.
Burt Reynolds stache allowed, Hitler stache, not allowed....its pretty simple.

Flown 135's for close to 15 years... couple hundred hours with a beard too. The masks on the tanker aren't built for a hermetically sealed personalized fit... as with almost every commercial mask seal isn't the issue as air is positive pressure forced air when placed in 'EMER.'

Flown contract at big jet VIP and military jobs before AA, and most of us had goatees or beards. Yes, we looked professional. Beards have nothing to do with it.

I'm for beards....
But with all the obease, untucked, wrinkled new hires here in the "contract airlines" concourse I can see the neatly trimmed patchy pubes coming at me like a manure-wagon jack knifed on ice.
....Still I'm for beards.

I see so many bad beards of people who grow patches and think its a beard. Im sure there are some on here who want a beard but don't know they cant grow a real beard.
This is an example of a bad beard and he thinks its good
