Hipsters....wayyy too over the top....What a terrible thread lol.
Please no on the man buns and that goes for skinny pants as well. Was hoping that was going to be a short lived trend. No one should be subjected to seeing a dude in pants that are way too tight that resembles someone trying to smuggle small grapes. Tight yoga pants should be for hot chicks and MILF only
Really? That person with the beard and man bun in skinny jeans wearing their scarf in July is really the sperm that won?
Oh, the humanity.

As I said earlier, not the great hat debate, but I think it's quite the stretch to associate beards with little undercooked sperm trying to be men at the local coffee co-op.

H-E double hockey sticks NO to the man bun'd lumbersexuals (not that there's anything wrong with that)

Can't seem to grow any hair on my head anymore. All for going full red bearded Viking or Lumberjack. Can we get red lumberjack flannel pilot shirts and bottles of maple syrup?

There is absolutely nothing wrong with having neatly trimmed and groomed facial hair.

And they wonder why they can't get millennials to sign up for this career?

It will be a great day when the beard fashion goes back in the disco footlocker it popped out of.

Can you keep the damn thing out of the seawall at SFO when the ILS has shat itself? Can you manage kinetic energy WAY out there before it becomes a problem? Do you wear a beard? NO problem. What a load of effluent.

Personally I don't like Beards but I think they should be allowed. It is clearly no longer a safety concern with the new masks we now have available. As far as image or professionalism goes who the hell out there is qualified to make that determination and what is the connection with beards? Prohibiting beards is and always has been a continued attempt to CONTROL pilot groups by management and is an archaic carryover from a time when most pilots had previously been "officers and gentlemen" and beards were not permitted. Nothing against ex-military of course (BTW thank your for your service) but times are changing and if a grown man wants to wear a clean and well groomed beard he should be allowed. Especially if it annoys prudish management dorks

When I don't fly I grow a goatee. I picked up a ferry flight a couple of months ago so no uniform, no shave before I went in. F/O was the same. The look on the gate agents face as we walked out the jetway door was priceless!
