One can around and around for days about Trump rescinding the routes.
Carnival Cruises and Mickey Aireson have been salivating over travel to Cuba as much as the airlines.
Cuba maintains a long standing rule that Cubans who left by boat can't return by boat. Carnival decided it would uphold that rule and prevented any knuckleheaded Cubans in Miami from being able to sail back to the mothership.
The issue with Cuba, China, Myanmar, etc.....there is 0% benefit or profit to anyone but the government by these routes. The Cuban people will remain as is witb or without the routes

Let all the cruise ships and tourist flights that want to visit Cuba do so! This hemisphere doesn't have enough tropical islands offering crowded streets, cheap souvenirs, and bad sunburns.
