Former Labor Sec appointed as Trans Sec
I'm going to put this here in hopes of having an important discussion.
Elaine Chao, former Labor secretary and heritage foundation fellow is going to become the next Transportation Secretary. From reading some of the Heritage Foundation publications, it looks like they want to dissolve the TSA, oppose the Airport Improvement taxes, and are pro ATC privatization.
It also appears the Heritage Foundation considers the Deny NAI movement as anti-competition. What are your thoughts on how this move affects two of our most important movements (ME3 and NAI)?

We all understand that Uncle Sam has its place. And I believe our civic duty is to be suspicious of anything coming from D.C. Let's not kick this can around. Instead discuss specific issues.
I am concerned about what the new appointment means concerning NAI, and about our future ability to strike. But I'll reserve judgement until I see what actually happens.

By your logic, if less government is ALWAYS better that would mean that you believe no government is best. So do you really believe less government is ALWAYS better or are you just repeating things you've heard on TV and read in the newspaper?

I think he just means less government unless it directly benefits him.
