Default Jacket suggestions?

Looking for a civilian jacket that maximizes the warmth-to-suitcase space ratio. Something that folds up easily into your rollaboard without being too bulky. Something that will get me through a winter layover in Chicago, or Buffalo, or Fargo. So, what's in your bag?

Lightweight Patagonia jacket that comes with its own stuff sack. Very warm, water resistant and takes less room than a shoe in my suitcase.

Any down jacket; Merrell or North Face comes to mind. They all fold up small and keep you warm

Just suck it up and wear a light fleece jacket. It's all I've had for 10 years, anything more is just overkill.

It went to the wayside with leather shoes in order to pave the way for innovative clothing such as black sneakers/crocs while sporting beards and skinny pants while vaping.

Oh, the humanity.

FYI...for all you guys that think vaping is cool, It causes cervical cancer in men.
True story!

I carry a Barbour Beaufort jacket and have for many years. It's weather proof, not very thick and can be folded into roughly the size of your overnight bag and packed on top of. If I'm on a particularly cold overnight, I'll layer the sweater that I wear with my uniform underneath it and it's warm enough to walk anywhere. The acquisition cost of the jacket might make some people do a double take, but let's remember, we are rich airline pilots. I've had one for over a decade and it's just getting started. I'd rather buy 1 good thing than 10 disposable ones.
