Default Not quite a pilot..

But I am working on it

Hi from the NW! Currently I have worked on the flight line at a large FBO for about 2 months, and before that as somewhat of a supervisor at a smaller FBO (that was for a year). I love working around planes, and have learned a lot in the past couple years, and made some nice connections on top of that.

I am working on getting my private pilot's license (yeah yeah, I'm reaaally green) and have been for the past couple of years. It's difficult to come up with the money, although I have worked hard and gotten some help because of it . I've got around 65 hours now and all the requirements done. Just keep on truckin', that's my theory.

I am also studying at a community college so that I can transfer to the University of Washington to persue a degree there. As for where I am going to go with my flying in the mean time, I have no idea. After college though I am going to do my best to finish what I need to and get hired. So that's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

Keep it up! You are doing things the right way - and you will learn a lot. I admire your drive.

Yeah I've got a few friends from a previous line job who are now working for Horizon. It's a great way to network and also keeps me interested in airplanes. I love working around them.

Anyways, I just recounted my logbook and it seems that I have 71 hours now.. I'm saving up for a final push when I get some time off work. I've been studying like mad.

I remember when I had 71 hours...

Keep working hard, and doing it the right way. Those FBO jobs can open a ton of doors. I really enjoyed doing it for 5 years.

Sucks that King Co started charging landing fees there. Now I have to go to RNT everyday for fuel. Galvin is nice and good service by you guys.
