Default Wanna work for the airlines.

I am not sure if I want to be a pilot, but I do want to work for the airlines. I graduated from college 4 years ago and having been working in the insurance industry. The money is okay and the job is stable, but I have always wanted to work in the airline industry. I would like to do something that involves logistics, planning, quanative skills and analytical ability. As such, I am looking at pursing a career as a dispatcher. Does anyone have any recommendations as to the job market, availability of positions, training etc.

Also does anyone know of any other types of positions in the airline industry that involve scheduling, route planning, resource management, logistics, etc?
