Default Newbie

Hello all, obviously I am new to the forum. I have been flying in the AF for the past 8 years and I am ready for a change. However, it seems like the economy may not support my desires. I have read the threads online for the past year and I am excited about finally getting involved in the discussions. If anyone has any advice or guidance I am extremely eager to listen. I just finished my ATP written and I will have my practical as soon as I find someplace nearby to take it. Any guidance for where I should go along the East Coast, DC area? Should I go after a type as well? If so, what should I get a type in?
