Talking How to plan ahead?

Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I'm in the AF and currently am a Tweet IP at SPS. I will be transitioning to T-6's soon and am excited about the future. I don't know if I will make a full career out of the AF yet but I am pretty sure that I would like to fly for an airline later on down the road. I have really enjoyed reading all of the information on here and am glad to finally be able to join so that I can post and ask questions. See ya.

sps 01 grad here. when do you guys get t-6s?
btw, i responded to your other post in the mil section. i'm a former viper guy about to go airlines in 2-3 years. my current assignment is a t-34 and i volunteered for it. i asked around about the me vs se deal and the turboprop hours. i heard it wont really matter and was told to go do what you want to do. so i did, and i love navy flying. so much better than the af way.

SPS has two T-6s here now and will be getting more soon. We have a lot of 37 IP's down at RND getting trained and the first student class should be in August. Why do you like Navy flying and the T-34 so much better? Just curious.

t-34 i like better than the tweet. obviously the t-6 beats both.
usn flying is great. they give you a plane, a rough hack at a t/o time(ie, set your own briefs), no mass briefs, and you can go out/back alot more liberally. ask around, anybody that has been thru navy upt or as a joint instructor will say how much more fun it is.
