Howdy!

My first post on APC. Woooo hooo!
Been lurking here occasionally, and finally registered.

Me? An inactive GA puke w/ ASEL instrument. All of my whopping 225 hrs is in Cessna spam cans. Haven't sat left seat since 2000 (full-time non-pilot job and have a family).

I flew into CGX a couple of times before it was torn apart , what a crime!

Anyway, hello all!

Hello and welcome FADECmonkey,

I am new here too. I am a student pilot in Tampa with about 13 hours. I take my PPL written tomorrow and then it's all fun from there on out.

I'd be flying every weekend if I could. My FBO is a little short on instructors.

Do you plan on getting back into flying?

Thanks for the welcome.

I remember when I had around 10-20 hrs. I was getting over the “sensory overload” of the first few hours, and starting to feel more in command of the plane.

I traveled a lot with my 1st job, and took my first 3 lessons in Florida (Orlando Executive).

I’ve put flying on the shelf for now. Full-time job and a family (we have 2 little ones at home) in my case means I would not fly often enough to stay proficient. I think about getting back into it down the road when the kids are older.

Good luck on the written, and enjoy training! What are you flying?
