Intro and recommendations?
Greetings all. I'm a former RJ Captain, back in the air after a few years away pursuing other business due to circumstances beyond my control (no negative employment history, I got back flying as soon as possible). Flying turboprops currently, which is fun but not much in the way of earnings potential.
It's hard to stomach the starting pay at the regionals. I'm definitely worth more in terms of experience and expertise, but I'm marginally competitive on paper - especially in terms of recent hours (<100) - anywhere else. 3000 TT, 1900 TURBINE (900 PIC), ~1600 PIC. I'm willing to work anywhere as long as it's safe/professional and increases my lifetime earnings (potential, at least).
Anyone have any thoughts or experience to share?
