Default Leasing VLJs

Hi,
I am a pilot/ entrepreneur in New Orleans that is hoping to someday operate VLJs under part 135.

I would like to know if it is possible for small start-ups to obtain VLJs using an operating lease, which is similar to renting. We are a small group of pilot/investors and we cannot afford to purchase them outright, so we are considering a leasing opportunity. I understand that the majors lease jets all the time, but can the same apply to VLJs ? I am hoping to find a company that is willing to do such a lease and have us use our own operating certificate and pilots. As you can tell I am a bit of an amateur in this industry, but I have been successful in other ventures and I think if I can asseble the right team, we can create something valuable. I doubt that I would be doing any of the flying personally, as I lack jet time and ratings.

If you have any input I would appreciate it.
Thanks
