Hey everybody,
Currently a Hornet pilot with about 2 years left in the Navy. Currently on the West Coast. Grew up in the southeast and college and NROTC at Georgia Tech. Probably looking at a Major or Fractional if I choose to leave the Navy. I definitely enjoy the sight and the knowledge everybody shares.

Forgot to say, I'm a Hornet pilot for now. Any former Navy guys out there that want to say hi, please do.

Welcome Milky. I'm former USAF and currently with a major. I started my transition plan about a year and half out so I think your timing is good to help you make a stay of go decision. Best of luck.

Welcome, current USAF guy but don't hold that against me. I am out in two months. I started about 1 1/2 years out as well, so you are definitely in good shape.

Did you guys start applying about 1.5 out or just start getting ATP and such?

I started the ATP process about 1.5 out. I dropped my apps around 8 mos out and it worked almost too well. If I could have gotten out of the AF early I could have had an earlier class date, but such is life.
