Thumbs up Herk Driver checking in
Hello all! I've been reading this forum for awhile. I'm a big fan of the informational atmosphere this forum fosters instead of the name-calling and complaining.

I'm a C-130E/H guy currently stationed in Tokyo, Japan. After 2 years here I've racked up about 900 hours, 2 deployments, and an AC qual. I've got quite a few (15? WOW) years left on AD but I can see how this forum can provide helpful hints for the afterlife.

BTW, Yokota ROCKS for any C-130 types looking for great TDYs and international exercises... great flying.

Welcome. I used to fly into Yokota a ton. I miss that place, from communist gyoza to rappongi. Count yourself lucky you guys have assignments like that! Good luck with the career.

Ken, keep the positive attitude and the 20 will roll by fast. To prove that there is life after 20, I am approaching 21 years (most in the beloved Herc) and I am swimming in the pool at SWA. Keep the faith, brother, rack up the hours, and enjoy the flying!

If I understand the forum correctly the site founders (you and a few others) pony up your $$ to keep this running. Thanks. It is a great site with tons of info/advice.

Ahhhh, communist, how I miss you and your rules.

Just think, before OIF, when I used to come to RJTY from the dorf to take all the good Pac runs, you could go to Pattaya and hit Marilyns(sp?) for some good entertainment
