Default Hello

Hey all,
First time poster but I’ve been checking in regularly as a guest. There is a lot of good information and professional discussion on here. I am currently leaving my job as a CFI to drink from the fire hose that is Regional Training and looking forward to it. I guess I’m a glutton for punishment.
Thanks

Welcome and good luck at training. Always good to get more people on the site.

Welcome RidgeRun -

Who did you get onboard with and when do you start your training?

Thanks.

Default No Surprises

Stepchild-

Take a look at the gouges on AviationInterviews.com. There are some gouges for the written that are pretty good there, but you need to pay for them. Once I get my 10 posts I can try to PM it too you. Those gouges were right on the money. The interview was straight foreword, mostly HR stuff- why Republic? Why should we hire you? etc. Other than that the only technical stuff was explain basic jet engine theory, read a taf, can the PA-44 fly in known icing?

They were pretty efficient getting us in and out. There was a video and the PRIA paperwork first thing in the morning followed by the wonderlick test just relax and it is cake (I got to about #35). Then the 24 question knowledge test which is based off of ATP knowledge. (Take a look at the gouge for more info on that it is not like the ATP Written.)

No Hornets for me, I’m on the Civi side of aviation. I’ve been instructing in gliders, and light twins.

Good luck

Read what? I only look at the pictures.....Oh wait, that's another story. No worries.

Maybe USMCFLYR will let us take a Hornet for a few trips around the pattern. We promise not to bend it too much!
