Default Hello

I've seen some fellow CFIs checking out this website, so I guessed it was my time to join as well.

I'm CFI at Kansas State University, and I'll be graduating in December, and hopefully be looking for a regional job then. I've got my Comm, Inst, ME, CFI, CFII, and I'm currently working towards my MEI. Just from reading a few threads today it looks like this place has a lot to offer, and I look forward to talking with everybody.

Hey FR6 - I was almost in your same situation except that I didn't hang around long enough to get all my CFI/II/MEI stuff done. Good luck to you finding a job out there. I did learn that it seemed to be a matter of WHO you knew more than WHAT you knew at that starting point.

Welcome to the boards. Fly your butt off instructing, and get as much multi time as you can. If you don't hate your life, you aren't instructing enough :-) That's how I lived, and it helped me get out of there much faster. I hope for your sake, and for everyone else's sake, that hiring picks back up in the next 6 months.

P.S. - you shouldn't really hate your life, but you know what I mean.

Hey FlyingR6, I'm a KSU grad, too- 2001. I instructed there for a couple of years before I left. I'm just down South of you in ICT. Best of luck with the career path!
