Default Greetings!

Allow myself to introduce....myself.

Hey all, I'm glad to have been able to join, finally! I really enjoy this site- thanks for having me.

A little about me- I'm currently flying a C-90 in an EMS role, and our company got a Citation II a while back and I was chosen as the SIC. Now I've been told to study up to take my PIC Type in it. It'll be my first Type. I've been here 2 1/2 years and am starting to look around for the next leap in the career, and I've enjoyed reading the mass amounts of information found here. This has been a great job for me and my family, but we're trying to decide if it's where I should stay.

I hope to be able to contribute as much as I read, and it'd be great to make new friends along the way. See ya on the forums.

Congrats ... and welcome.

While you might be looking to other career options, I've been casually scoping out EMS options. I have past jet PIC and a good job but am interested in the type of flying. Any advice or stories are most welcome!

Thanks guys. Flyingback, if you need any insight to the job, ask away!

There are lots of stories- a lot of really good times, and some really heartbreaking ones as well. I remember two years ago, when I became a Dad, every time we flew newborns was really hard. I don't want to go too much into detail with much of this regarding particulars, but just know it's a very rewarding job, but it definitely has its challenges- mental, physical, emotional, and especially the flying challenges!

You must work for Eagle Med out of ICT. You don't by chance go by Caravanman, on another site do you?

Flying challenges different from other flying?

I appreciate what you're saying about the human aspect of it ... I'd be very motivated by that. If I could find a place to build a career on that .... I just don't know much about it and find it very hard to leave what I have for the unknown in terms of income and operators.
