Default It's a pleasure to be here!

Hi APC,

I've read posts on this site for nearly a year and never owned an e-mail that would work for this website. Finally I have one and it's a pleasure to be here speaking with all of you! Hopefully I can become as big of a help to you as all of you have been to me over the years.

Currently I'm a CFI and a Cessna 421/402 Captain, and work and fly the Gear Handle on MiG-17's and MiG-21's over the summer. It would be a complete PLEASURE to see and meet any of you at airshows!

I sincerely look forward to talking to all of you, and again am thrilled to be here!

You didn't happen to be at the Tinker AFB airshow recently in Oklahoma were you? I was parked right next to the Mig 17. In any case - welcome to the forum and enjoy yourself.

USMC -

No sir! I'd love to get a better traveling airshow like that, but our airplane(s) usually perform shows within our area, and OK is a little bit out of it.. :-)

Do you remember what the aircraft looked like? Maybe Silver/Red with blue 1611 on the nose? If so that's Randy Ball and he is a very good friend of mine and our teams. He is based in Texas, so I would imagine its a very good possibility he attended that airshow.

Regards,
MiGBoy

I believe that was the one. After his last fly-by he did a touch-n-go and took off south and I heard him say that he was heading home on the radio - so maybe that was him >G< I also saw one in Kingsville TX but I don't remember who was flying that one. So where is your base of operations?
