Well, I didn't, so I guess it was a success.

However, my mom who was flying in the back, almost did barf when I took the controls.

Hey Brandon,

I'm new to this forum, but not the industry. I started flying at your age as well and got all my ratings right out of high school. I have the same (if not more) passion 10 years later about flying airplanes. Can't wait to see you on the line!!!

Jaydee - That's one way to look at it, though we still don't know if she'll be flying with me when I get my license.

Seoceancrosser - I doubt that it's possible for you to have more passion, but you might be close. So, since it's been 10 years, what have you been up to? Any good aviation jobs? College?

I have 300 hours and an instrument rating, and my mom just recently rode in the back of the family airplane with me at the controls. It takes a while.

If you do nothing else...GO TO COLLEGE.

Hah, better late than never!

Oh and believe me, I'm DEFINITELY going to college, no doubt about it! (and getting a degree in something other than aviation as well.)
