Default NWA - DAL merger approval
What is the talk about whether legislature will approve or deny the NWA-DAL deal. Please forgive, for I fly for one of the freighters and I'm asleep in a hotel when all of the news programs are on TV.

The legislative branch has virtually no role in airline mergers. They'll hold hearings, but they don't mean much. The major hurdle is almost always the Anti-trust division of the Dept. of Justice. When/if DOJ approves it, then it's done.
